For those of you who don't know, consumer reports are basically like report cards for the auto makers. They get judged on safety, performance....yatta yatta...
What didn't surprise me is Honda coming in first. Also, Subaru tied with them, both at 77 out of 100 points.
And then! What I never saw coming, Toyota came in second. Or third. Whichever way you wanna look it. I was like lolwattoyata. Aren't you busy with that whole recall thing?
You know... The largest automobile recall in the history of history. Smooth...

Also, American companies didn't fair so well in the consumer reports. Ford was the highest ranking American company, and Chrysler was dead last. I shouldn't have to explain why really.
I think Toyota could have easily taken the crown from Honda this year. Would I buy a Toyota then? No.
They are still just plastic japanese econoboxes.
And if that's the case I'd rather just buy Civic or someshit.
